Rocky Point Engineering completed the mecanical engineering for the Greta and Robert H. N. HO Psychiatry and Education Centre, (the HOpe Centre). This new Centre for Mental Health and Addictions on the Lions Gate Hospital Campus is a bright, 4-storey building designed for the comfort and healing of patients. The building will also house the Djavad Mowafaghian UBC Medical Education Centre for the use by specialists and medical students on the North Shore.

The Hope Centre is a $62 million dollar, high-efficiency building employing passive energy saving techniques along with the latest high performance mechanical systems to reduce the overall energy use of the building. Systems include heat pumps, active chilled beams, and Vancouver's LEC district heating system.

This project was awarded LEED® Gold in April 2016.
