The Penticton Indian Band (PIB) is thriving to demonstrate leadership in the triple bottom line of sustainability. Five identical homes will be built and retained by the Band as affordable housing units for the community. Extremely ambitious energy efficiency goals and reduced construction cost budgets are proving to be an interesting challenge for the design team. The EnerGuide 90 and LEED Gold goals coupled with a very affordable construction budget will help the Penticton Indian Band to build a beautiful and livable display of cost effective highly sustainable homes.

Rocky Point Engineering is providing third party high level mechanical engineering consulting to the design-build team. The chosen mechanical system will offer durability, simplicity and energy efficiency for this project.
